Game Description
Pokemon FireRed Version is a remake of Pokemon Red. It is the first remake in the Pokemon series. It is a part of the third generation game in the series.
Like other games, the player participates in tournaments and combats. Pokemon are controlled by the player, and I viewed from a third-person perspective.
New features that have been added are a new region and a contextual help menu. The perspective of the game is in third person and overhead. And the screen changes to a turn-based battle screen each time the player comes across a wild Pokemon or is challenged.
The main plot is to gather and collect Pokemons and then raise and train them for battles and tournaments. This game also has tutorials for the player. Data is stored, and the last four moves of the player can be checked in order to help them remember what they were doing.
It takes place in the region of Kanto. The geographical features are common as in other games. However, some areas remain locked and can only be accessed after some demands are met, like by collecting specific tools or when a Pokemon learns special skills.
It has received a score of 82.14% from GameRankings. GameSpy has given four stars out of five to this game.
