  I’d been using this app regularly for months to cast to my tv and it worked beautifully. Then they updated it and I can’t cast at all anymore. I’ve emailed customer service several times and they’ve had me do these procedures that haven’t made any difference. I’m starting to lose faith that it’ll ever get fixed. UPDATE: it’s been broken for over 5 months now. There hasn’t been an app update in over 8 months.

  Most of the app functions well finally. But it’s been 7 months since the last update to the app and it won’t cast to a chromecast anymore. The app shows messages to restart video when you try to cast and it seems to be a known and documented issue since at least June but likely earlier.When will there be an update to fix bugs and other issues?

  I love MSNBC. That being said, this app has been mismanaged into a nose dive collision with garbage. The casting ability slowly got worse over years. Now there is a chromecast button which fails to cast 100% of the time. It literally gives the same error message 100% of attempts to cast. It has been this way now for months. When the casting started having issues, CNN had no casting ability. Now CNNs casting is flawless. This is why I now watch CNN. Sorry Rachael that you don’t have better techs working at your network.

  The App is not without issues. Absurd commercial breaks where broadcast ads are replaced with local ad buys...& same 2 or 3 ads run 5x every break. It is water torture to see another Pharmaceutical ad run once again after 500 viewings already in an afternoon. Also, broadcast is often interrupted with frozen screen & slowly circling white icon. This goes on for minutes at a time. I watch MSNBC very regularly & my vote goes to replacing the online regional patching strategy for advertising purposes & simply send out the exact same cable feed that I get on my Xfinity Cable TV. Why is this an issue? I wish I knew.

  My rating would be higher if I was considering only content as I avidly watch almost all of the MSNBC shows. I’d be willing to pay to avoid some of the ads that are repetitious, even sometimes in the same ad block, and never targeted to my demographic or interests. Freezing is a greater problem with this app than any other I use. Also the app does not remember where I left off watching when I return to a show when resuming the app. I know this is a free app but this feature, present in other apps, would really help the older user. Kudos to your show hosts who are very skilled and interesting to watch. I would appreciate a little bit more national and yes international news to temper my strong interest in all things Washington DC. Thank you making this content available and please keep addressing the freezing problem.

  Have dealt with this apps issues for months. Support cannot solve. Don't know whether to blame MSNBC or COX, my ISP. App regularly requires that I log back in at the top of the hour, which is when new shows begin.
